sunday morning...

It's sunny and warm on this lazy Sunday morning...thinking about heading over to the local flea market this afternoon...just finished a sweet breakfast and finishing up my luke warm coffee.

i spy pancakes...

Mr. Rugged (fiance') & I love pancakes! Especially blueberry, banana & chocolate chip variations. I seriously think we eat them at least 4 days of the week. The heart shape pancakes (above) are adorable! Maybe I will try my hand at preparing these for our Valentines Day breakfast.

something about diners...

There's something rather charming about indulging in diner food...As a little girl, I remember waking up early on Saturday morning and going to breakfast with the family. I was always overwhelm by the huge menus and large variety of choices...Nevertheless, pancakes with strawberry topping and orange juice always remain the final choice..Now as an adult, I rarely have the opportunity to visit diners for breakfast, however whenever I do go I still order the exact meal (strawberry pancakes) only difference is the O.J is now replaced with coffee.

winter delight...

'Vanilla Latte'

I woke up to a pleasant delightful surprise this morning...mom made french toast, topped with fresh strawberries and whip cream. It was absolutely DELICIOUS! There was also the delight of a fresh coat of snow outside, which sparkled under the sun...After breakfast, I made a special vanilla latte for my father and I to enjoy...it was the best tasting latte I have ever had in my life! (not exaggerating at all)

Everything from the meal to the coffee and cozy warm feeling inside was delightful....it felt like heaven.
