March of last year (2011) I was married to the wonderful Mr. Rugged, and being that we both were naturally sporadic individuals, we planned our simple beach wedding in under 3 months. Although it was very simplistic and did not involve too much detail, I can remember just how overwhelming everything was. Now, almost 1 year later and reminiscing on our beautiful occasion a part of me wish that I could do it all over again :)

Today was spent curled in a corner at the local book store, drinking hot mocha and flipping through dozens of art, food and wedding books...The book in particular (which caught my attention) Southern Weddings has by far the most amazing ideas for an outdoor wedding and has definitely confirmed our ideas of the aesthetics for the occasion. The bridal gowns above definitely tell the story of a true southern belle..which allows me to embrace my inner southern roots graciously.Mr. Rugged and I are truly excited for our outdoorsy wedding!
