This past Monday I've returned from the hospital with a baby boy :) The labor was very long and thankfully I stayed strong and stuck with my decision of having a natural birth (no medicine)... After never ending pushes, Jared was born 8 pounds and 6 ounces. Let me just note, that's 'a lot' of baby for a petite individual like myself. It's amazing to not only be the wife of my beloved 'mr. rugged' but to now be a new mommy to our little tot. Life has certainly welcomed me into a brand new chapter this year.

Finding the perfect vintage shoe is hard to come by... especially if your foot is a size 5~

I can't seem to remember the story behind this particular pair (besides the fact it was made by D'Alexis, an exclusive designer in the 1940s-50s...) however they are stunning, made with excellent craftsmanship and of course is a size 5.5M ... not to mention now available in the shop.

Yesterday I visited one of my favorite sources three hours south of Atlanta... and luckily found these five amazing retro handbags. My favorite has to be the white basket style, adorn with gold and beading embellishment.... I should have these pieces cleaned, photographed and ready for the next shop update on Monday.
