shop update & a train wreck pie

Just in case you lovely readers did not know, I've added a few new products to the shop.
Also, today I will be working on adding additional merchandise to my official web site :)
.....
I baked an apple pie last night, and although this is technically only the 3rd apple pie I've ever baked, this one for some reason was a complete failure. I'm not quite sure what went wrong but the bottom crust total evaporated and/or turned into mush. Very disappointing, since it was something I've been craving for a while. My husband, Mr. Rugged said that it taste fine and reminds him of a cobbler of some sort, but I'm not buying it!

small shoes to fill...

Finding the perfect vintage shoe is hard to come by... especially if your foot is a size 5~
I can't seem to remember the story behind this particular pair (besides the fact it was made by D'Alexis, an exclusive designer in the 1940s-50s...) however they are stunning, made with excellent craftsmanship and of course is a size 5.5M ... not to mention now available in the shop
