Modern + Vintage

Untitled #49

Untitled #50

I love showcasing various ways to wear vintage clothing and handbags!
Above are two simple options for pairing a classic 1960s Rolf Leather Handbag (in it's traditional Kelly style.)
This beauty can be dressed up and/or down... the decision is yours.

street style: The Pleated Skirt

Mint green is a favorite shade of mine. I just love how fabulous Caroline Issa looks in her sweet skirt and my most favorite accessory of all time... a bright smile! This look translates two things, classy and chic.

style inspiration...

I'm loving the color palette from this gorgeous line...the different variations of orange, peach, jade and sea green is simply stunning. Not to mention an understated vintage inspired aesthetic that's unbelievably admirable. Does anyone perhaps know which designer this collection belongs to? Unfortunately, I have no idea and found the images (unmarked) via Flickr.

leopard craze...

I'm sure you already know that leopard is everywhere this Fall...As for myself, I've always remained a devoted fan of this fabulous print since the beginning of time. I can remeber spending my hard earn money on my very first pair of leopard platforms from Steve Madden (which was considered designer for a 14 year old back in the 90s)
Awww memories...although I do not have any leopard per se' in the shop (at the moment,) I have put together a few great selections of accessories that would look superb worn with the 'trend'...

eternal sunshine...

The weather is turning much cooler but I don't find that a reason to stop enjoying the beach...with a few extra layers of warmth, one could easily still make a day of beach fun.
These hazy yet dreamy photographs are absolutely gorgeous. I used to have a pair of those striped toe knee-socks in grade school...so retro

violet crush...

The summer is slowly ending and fall fashion is finally approaching.
I have never been an avid fan of any shade of purple...however these retro inspired images now have the delightful hue at the top of my wardrobe list. These beautiful photographs were taken by Corrie Bond...she's wonderful!
