I'm a sucker for vintage inspired editorials, and this one featured was produced by Vogue Russia.

Not only am I excited to get my body back into shape, post baby/ breast feeding... but I'm looking forward to updating my wardrobe with fresh pieces to compliment my new 'mommy' lifestyle without sacrificing my youthful hipster style of course.

French cafe' society in the twenties and thirties... photographed by Steven Meisel.

Certain decades seem to exude loads of glamour and chicness .... the decades that most represent this for me are the 1920s and 1930s...which are highly underrated. I feel inspired this morning to take a short trip to a small little town just 45min outside of Atlanta to discover some new antique houses...maybe I will return with a rare piece from the flapper era ... wish me luck!

violet crush...

The summer is slowly ending and fall fashion is finally approaching.

I have never been an avid fan of any shade of purple...however these retro inspired images now have the delightful hue at the top of my wardrobe list. These beautiful photographs were taken by Corrie Bond...she's wonderful!

These images were found in an old March 2008 Marie Claire issue...I just love this 'vintage' influence editorial piece.

magazine collection...

Being an avid fashion magazine collector has it's advantages however the mass clutter I have accumulated has gotten out of control. Today I plan on downsizing my collection. I have tons issues including British Elle to every single issue of Nylon ... remember Domino magazine? awww those were my favorite to read and since it's no longer in print, I'm keeping that part of my collection a tad bit longer...

the art of chloe'...

I've been collecting Chloe' ad's for over a few years now, and with each new season campaign, they never cease to amaze me...I'm pondering on what exactly makes a Chloe' ad stunning...perhaps its a blend of different aspects (make up, location, photography).
Do you find Chloe' ad's as inspiring as I do?
