luggage update...

Our weekend trip to Knoxville was lovely. We had a nice time visiting our friends and playing with the baby. As promised (however slightly off schedule) the shop is now updated with 'new' luggage items. There's something here for everyone...I firmly believe a vintage train case is not limited to travel, but also can be used as a storage box, tool case and/or sewing kit.

au revoir...

weekend trip...

This weekend we're headed to Knoxville, Tennessee to visit a dear friend. It's our first time visiting the place, and our itinerary is filling up fast. Along with lots of food sampling and sight seeing, I plan to visit a few flea markets and antique malls along the way. I'm sure Mod Human will have fresh inventory featured in the shop once were back on Monday...By the way, the luggage update will launch Monday afternoon 12:00pm EST.

On Saturday, I will be taking a 3 day trip to Providence, RI. This weekend excursion will consist of hanging out with my younger sisters, along with helping her settle into a new apartment. Below I have put together an itinerary for my visit to ensure that I get the most out of my stay...

Brown University (for the architecture)
Shopping for sister's apartment and decorating...

There's Something about Mr. Rugged...

I hope your week is going great thus far...
I'm all smiles at the moment. Life is certainly an amazing thing and I must say...I have a lot of 'new positive things happening to me right now and feel like sharing more of my personal life with you.

For starters, I have a special guy in my life...(who shall remain nameless for now) let's just call him Mr. Rugged.....honestly I will admit, I had my doubts if I would ever meet such a great man...but I've been proven wrong and now I have this wonderful guy in my life...I feel blessed.
Also, I've been reading more, eating healthier and attempting to travel each weekend. Last weekend Mr. Rugged and I ventured off to Charleston, SC...we enjoyed a walking tour, ate crab soup and visited Kiawah Island, amongst other fun activities. It was perfect...I shall share additional photos of the trip in my next blog post...
Well that's all for now, I must re-heat my afternoon coffee and get back to work...

forget me not...

Let's see, where should I start?....I've been missing in action because I literly been traveling a lot lately.
I returned home a few days ago from San Juan, Puerto Rico and now I'm up to my head with playing catch-up with my work.
I spent the entire day cleaning, photographing and adding inventory to the shop. Above are a few items (amongst many others) that are now available for purchase. While eating lunch (which I'm currently doing at the moment) I realized that I have not updated the blog in FOREVER! I am very very sorry...and hope to get back on the ball.

Many of the Tapestry Handbags have been marked down 25-50% off in the shop...please visit to view more.
On another note: I had a nice, long weekend...enjoying the majority of my time at the beach on Amelia Island. The weather was perfect and the island's beaches were beautiful and quite. This was my first time visiting and I'm already planning my next stay in the 'hopeful' near future.
Photographs of the trip are to come...check in the next blog post.

rainy weekend update...

This weekend has been filled with big drops of rain, gray clouds and loud thunderstorms....I love these kind of days, because I am able to get cozy in my home office with a cup of tea and load new vintage items into the shop.  I think I do my best work on 'rainy days'...what do you like to do when it's gloomy outside?

It's been a long time coming...I just wrapped up the last 10 hours of my life, loading all of the lovely vintage into the shop. The powder blue train case and cardigan, were actually two items I originally thought about keeping for myself...But somehow I ended up adding them to the store anyway!
Oh well...my loss is your gain!
