Spring $9.99 HANDBAG SALE...

I hope everyone is having a nice weekend...mine is going great thus far! The girls & I took a drive to Senoia, Georgia during the afternoon for antiquing. We had a great time and I had an even better time, giving the fact that I lucked up and found a beautiful maxi summer dress at a local consignment shop.

I'm having a Spring $9.99 Handbag Sale in the shop, which began last night...A lot of handbags have been marked down over 50%.
This is a good time to purchase a few items that you may have been admiring...stock up :)

early bedtime...

I woke up this morning feeling rather refresh & energetic due to my fourteen hours of sleep from the previous night...Oh yes, I went to bed at 9:30pm. I was very tired from a long day of work followed by visiting the carnival yesterday. I have high hopes on adding additional merchandise to the shop this evening, so please check back for more retro finds...In the meantime, above are a few 'new' items added to the shop.

March has finally arrived and the weather has blossom into bright sunshine and blue sky's.
After lunch I wondered into my back yard and took a couple of photographs of the new blooms...
I love the Spring and I can't wait to enjoy the rays with Anthony at the Atlanta Fair this weekend.

I'm a big fan of fashion photography and I love these images of Miss Olsen & Miss Olsen...I believe the first photo is Ashley, and the bottom three are Mary Kate.
The styling in each photograph is impeccable. Edgy, designer vintage threads with soft lighting always looks lovely....and black & white images are just classy to say the least.

I'm a little late... but I just purchased a 2010 calender yesterday and was excited to discover that Daylight Saving Time actually begins next week? This is fantastic new's for me, since I adore 'longer' days which is traditionally accompanied with much warmer weather.
The winter is fastly leaving and I couldn't be much happier!
I'm ready for easy-breezy cotton summer dresses and frequent evening trips to Dairy Queen for strawberry sundaes...
As for the Mod store... I've added a bunch of GOREGOUS retro handbags that will look classic worn in the Spring/Summer... another way to describe them...simply TO.DIE.FOR (in my Rachel Zoe voice)

While living in Miami Beach I was surprise to see the assorted jewel rings I have been subconsciously collecting over the past few years...These rings are no way near the amount that I actually have, but rather the chosen few that are my favorite. Most came from Forever 21, while others were one-of-a kind picks from various estate sales and thrift stores.

With Spring and Summer right around the corner, I decided to create a WEDDING section for the shop! This new area will feature beautiful, delicate evening bags, dresses and random accessories to accompy any lovely lady and/or bridal party on her wedding day. I'm very excited about this new addition to the shop and hope that you love it too!

macon trip...

 

Saturday was perfect! Mom and I decided to take a mini day trip to Macon, Ga...and spent the entire day antiquing and enjoying the pleasant mid 60's, sunny weather. Macon is just 1 hr south of Atlanta, Ga and it's full of country roads, beautiful homes, and tiny little antique shops. For lunch we had Steak and Shake...the chocolate milkshake were soooo' good. I found a lot of beautiful inventory for the store and I hope to have everything listed within the next few days...
I will post photos of the all the cute merchandise in the next post...

post valentines weekend...

 

What a long, relaxing weekend...in the mist of Valentines day, President's day and every other normal day, I spent time drinking herbal tea, eating chocolate and watching old movies. On Sunday, I drove to the antique capital of the south...Chamblee, Ga. It's a small, southern charming town located just north of Atlanta. It was nice browsing the 20,000 sq ft mall, however I was slightly disappointed that the other 14 antique shops were unfortunately closed on Sunday's....but at least I did find some lovely goodies for myself!

I also added a few gorgeous wicker handbags and a snakeskin purse to the store last night...they are beyond rare and unique! I was very tempted on keeping all 3 for myself, especially the red one but I figured someone else could give 'her' a better home.

As for the white handbags, they should be in the shop by this evening.
