Weekend in Savannah, Georgia
We visited one of my favorite cities which happens to be 3 hours away from home... Savannah, Georgia. This was officially our first road trip as a family and our little boy totally enjoyed the drive. Here are a few snapshots from the mini vacay.

macon trip...
Saturday was perfect! Mom and I decided to take a mini day trip to Macon, Ga...and spent the entire day antiquing and enjoying the pleasant mid 60's, sunny weather. Macon is just 1 hr south of Atlanta, Ga and it's full of country roads, beautiful homes, and tiny little antique shops. For lunch we had Steak and Shake...the chocolate milkshake were soooo' good. I found a lot of beautiful inventory for the store and I hope to have everything listed within the next few days...
I will post photos of the all the cute merchandise in the next post...

j. crew treats...
After a long weekend, I started the week off to a great start... I'm talking about shopping! I woke up rather early and made myself a simple, healthy breakfast before heading down to Locust Grove Shopping Outlet. My first stop was inside my favorite store of all time: J. Crew! I was happy to be the first and only customer inside the shop...that way, I was able to take my time and browse the selection without any interference. (Yes friends, I am an early bird shopper!)
I also made friends with a very nice associate, which gave me a quick preview of some of the lovely spring/summer things to come....
I finally wrapped up my selection with a pretty scoop- neck artist Tee, enamel bangels and a gorgeous jewel necklace...It always feels good to treat yourself to something special :)
What do you like to treat yourself to?
xoxo

2010 store update...
My family & I ventured off to Savannah, Ga to bring in 2010...On Saturday morning we had a lovely southern breakfast and drove to Tybee Island (15 minutes from Savannah) to stroll along the beach & visited Fort Pulaski on our way back into the city...(pictures of the trip in the next blog post.) Historic Savannah is a romantic, charming city, filled with antique shops, moss trees and cobble stone streets...it can make any person fall in love. We finally wrapped up our weekend by having a nice lunch at a cozy restaurant on the Riverwalk...
The holiday was an amazing, cheerful time and It seems bittersweet that the 'Christmas spirit' season has now come to an end. However, It's very exciting to bring in a new decade and I have high hopes & wishes for Mod Human this year! 2009 was an amazing year for M.H and I thank each of you from the bottom of my heart for all your support :)
I added a few more bags to the shop today, and will add another batch tonight...please have a look

Adore Vintage Gucci
I was in Locust Grove, GA last weekend and found the most incredible, impeccable and timeless handbag ever!
It's a vintage 1960s Gucci purse...which also converts into a clutch!
This particular bag is made of gorgeous, smooth camel leather with a long gold chain strap.
Oversized envelope shape that will look amazing added to any wardrobe.
Also very similar to the newer Gucci 'Safari' look...
