streetstyle: Casual Chic

I love everything about this look...the head scarf, cat eye-glasses, the birkin bag and the gorgeous cherry red wrap dress. She looks beyond sophisticated and comfortable in her skin all at once.

Wide leg pants may be the current trend this spring, but I will forever be a fan of the skinny trouser. There's nothing more classic and chic than clean lines and a pleated front.

style inspiration...

I'm loving the color palette from this gorgeous line...the different variations of orange, peach, jade and sea green is simply stunning. Not to mention an understated vintage inspired aesthetic that's unbelievably admirable. Does anyone perhaps know which designer this collection belongs to? Unfortunately, I have no idea and found the images (unmarked) via Flickr.

i spy hermes...

Like all things glamorous, a Hermes handbag definitely fits the mold. For the longest I've been on a treasure hunt for an authentic vintage Hermes purse... unfortunately I've had no luck in that department. Dreams do come true and in the mean time, I'll be keeping my fingers cross and lusting over the beauties above.

karen walker, spring 2011 collection
Karen Walker did a great job incorporating full, knee length skirts into her recent collection. Ultra feminine and lady-like.

j. crew spring collection 2011

J. Crew spring 2011

I've been an avid fan of J.Crew since my high-school days...while several years later they still remain a constant favorite of mine. The 2011 spring collection particularly stands out, because of the whimsical details and retro inspired designs. J. Crew has done it again with it's amazing, talented and very imaginative crew.
