the full effect...

On a random trip to the thrift store, I happen to come across a slew of gorgeous vintage Full Skirts. My intentions were to add them to the shop however I've now decided to keep for myself and wear to work... Since experimenting with the 'full effect' look , I've drawn plenty of inspiration on just how to wear these chic skirts without letting one overpower my petite frame.

In the beginning, Mod Human Vintage was known for selling mostly vintage handbags however, as of late our inventory has not only expanded to shoes and clothing...but small household goods too! It's exciting to see how much we have evolved since the beginning of our venture. 

I thought it would be fun to put some 'outfits' together while showcasing a few new pieces recently added to the shop.

I love everything about this look...the head scarf, cat eye-glasses, the birkin bag and the gorgeous cherry red wrap dress. She looks beyond sophisticated and comfortable in her skin all at once.

Pairing select vintage pieces with everyday modern wear has never been easier to accomplish until now. With top designers incorporating vintage styles into their new collection/designs, this process is effortless. Here I've paired a 1950s pill box handbag (from the shop) along with a few resort pieces. Perfect for those planning a sunny getaway from the terribly cold weather. Oh Boy!, I simply cannot wait for my honeymoon next month. Mr. Rugged and I decided on Riviera Maya in Mexico.
