March of last year (2011) I was married to the wonderful Mr. Rugged, and being that we both were naturally sporadic individuals, we planned our simple beach wedding in under 3 months. Although it was very simplistic and did not involve too much detail, I can remember just how overwhelming everything was. Now, almost 1 year later and reminiscing on our beautiful occasion a part of me wish that I could do it all over again :)

Over the pass few days, I've come across some of the most beautiful pieces and was lucky enough to grab a few for the shop. Here is a shop preview of what's to come!

Maybe it's a little early to start shopping for my bridal gown, but I did run across this beautiful frock last night on Etsy from a shop called Toccata. Mr. Rugged and I are planning an outdoor wedding in the backyard of my parents home...very intimate and private, and this dress could possibly put the icing on the cake of our whimsical ceremony.

I'm getting married...

Okay...so I never thought this day would arrive so soon, but it's finally here...

Mr. Rugged & I are officially ENGAGED!

This past weekend, he surprised me with a trip to St. Simon Island and on Friday night after dinner he popped the question...of course I cried and was in complete shock. I had absolutely no idea he was going to propose... I'm officially as happy as a hippo :)

p.s.

My ring is beautiful...knowing how much I love antique jewelry, he proposed with an Art Deco style 1920s ring... of course this is just icing on the cake ;)

I have a weakness for outdoor weddings.. especially a particular one which takes place in a small villages in France.

fancy parties...

I've never been one to throw fabulous, fancy parties but these quirky yet ever so chic centerpiece ideas are beyond amazing...maybe I will continue with the idea of hosting a back yard BBQ party...for Labor Day perhaps.

With Spring and Summer right around the corner, I decided to create a WEDDING section for the shop! This new area will feature beautiful, delicate evening bags, dresses and random accessories to accompy any lovely lady and/or bridal party on her wedding day. I'm very excited about this new addition to the shop and hope that you love it too!
