The Round Up

 Luckily, this morning's estate sale was in my neighborhood, so without hesitation I made apple waffles for my husband and I, threw on my 50's halter dress and ventured out for the hunt. There were a bunch of old men's clothing, and lot's of glassware... neither things I want or need, however I did manage to find a few trinkets (the bright mixing bowl, beads, etc above) 

The pin cushion is my favorite, especially since I never replaced my old tomato one which was lost months ago...and I have a soft spot for retro Pyrex bowls soooo for 3 bucks, I had to grab it.

forever 21, antique, thrift

While living in Miami Beach I was surprise to see the assorted jewel rings I have been subconsciously collecting over the past few years...These rings are no way near the amount that I actually have, but rather the chosen few that are my favorite. Most came from Forever 21, while others were one-of-a kind picks from various estate sales and thrift stores.

I am over my head in merchandise that need to be photographed...and I have yet to eat breakfast nor lunch...maybe I will make myself a loaded bake potato before I start photographing these gorgeous items...are you excited yet? Because I am...I can't wait to see how pretty everything looks in the shop when I'm done.

A-lot of the new inventory added to the shop are estate finds that have never been worn...100 % mint condition....how exciting is that!?!

little small treasures

Here are a few of the treasures I found on Thursday's estate sale. The antique mushroom shaped pin cushion and trinket box are both made of sterling silver, and are from the 1920s decade. The adorable raffia, navy blue handbag is a 1950s made in Japan original! I am keeping the pin cushion and trinket box for my own keepsake, however I have decided to offer the lovely handbag up for sale in the shop! I will let you know once it is available for purchase....

Cocktail Hour

Friday was yet another great day! Another estate sale, this time in Griffin, Georgia. After the sale my mom & I walked around the downtown area and went from shop to shop. We must have stopped in dozens of small antique stores. I actually came across a very GORGEOUS cocktail dress, which must be from the 1950s era. I will have to have a slight few alterations done, however this gem is worth every penny.
