eternal sunshine...

The weather is turning much cooler but I don't find that a reason to stop enjoying the beach...with a few extra layers of warmth, one could easily still make a day of beach fun.
These hazy yet dreamy photographs are absolutely gorgeous. I used to have a pair of those striped toe knee-socks in grade school...so retro

weekend trip...

Headed to Tybee Island for the weekend. We are leaving early Saturday morning and will return late Sunday evening...I hope to take plenty of photographs, enjoy long naps on the beach and drink plenty mimosas.

miami love

I have finally returned from my second home in Miami Beach....I had a lovely time & enjoyed the beautiful, sunny weather. Miami is truly like no other city, thriving on it's heavy influence of Latin culture. Something is certainly to be said, about the exotic beauties, old architecture and glamorous beaches. On Sunday, my friends and I packed lunch and had homemade pina colada's on South Beach...just like old times. Our night was followed by dinner at a hidden gem called Bangkok City...the best & freshest sushi restaurant in town. This weekend has flew by very fast...and I am back home in Atlanta, where the weather is cold and wet.
I will be adding additional vintage handbags and coats to the shop tomorrow and I am very excited about an Estate Sale in Macon, Ga that I may be attending as well!

Global warming is definitely kicking our butt right now....this just might be the hottest summer in history!

Usually I'm enjoying the warm weather on the golf course or at the beach, but lately it seems like all I want to do is stay inside my air conditioned casa :)

As for Mod Human news....I thought it would be a good idea to run the $9.99 Handbag Sale just a tad bit longer...and give all of my fellow lazy summer bums (like myself) a chance to participate in the sale.

Now It's time for my favorite summer treat...ICE CREAM :)
