easy strawberry smoothie...

 
  

Need: 
1 cup sliced fresh or frozen strawberries
1 1/4 cups milk
1 1/4 cups ice (8 large ice cubes)

Directions:
add strawberries, ice, and milk to blender
blend on high for 1 minute

  

Smoothies are one of my favorite things to drink in the morning for breakfast or just for a quick 'pick-me up' snack...Although smoothies are often yummy and healthy it's very easy to pack on the extra (not needed) calories...Here is a simple recipe to make a delicious drink under 3 minutes. 

*If you are vegan (or) your tummy just simply cannot handle dairy, you may substitute the milk for soy, almond or rice milk instead for an equally delightful treat.

tea bag






Now that the air has cooled, the wind is more sharp and the leaves have turned into a gorgeous orange-yellowish color, we can all say 'welcome home autumn!' One of my many traditions during this time of year, involves sipping on hot peppermint tea with honey & lemon. Not only is it refreshing but it's very calming and soothing too. I guess you can say that I drink 3 cups or more a day! Maybe that's a little obsessive, but who cares :) I'm drinking a cup right now as I write this lovely post...

Market Shopping







I went to the market and purchase a bottle of Moscot wine, bread and all sorts of fruit...strawberries, blueberries, grapes and cherries...awww' It's nothing like lounging on a cool, summer afternoon, while enjoying fresh sweet fruit & wine. Oh boy...I'm certainly going to miss the summer...
