There is nothing better than waking up in the morning and knowing that you have absolutely nothing to do...That opportunity is something that rarely happens in my life, but every once in a blue moon, I have the pleasure of letting my mind drift, drinking numerous cups of tea and admiring nature and beauty in all forms...

winter delight...

'Vanilla Latte'

I woke up to a pleasant delightful surprise this morning...mom made french toast, topped with fresh strawberries and whip cream. It was absolutely DELICIOUS! There was also the delight of a fresh coat of snow outside, which sparkled under the sun...After breakfast, I made a special vanilla latte for my father and I to enjoy...it was the best tasting latte I have ever had in my life! (not exaggerating at all)

Everything from the meal to the coffee and cozy warm feeling inside was delightful....it felt like heaven.

6 vintage bags...

Currently I'm back home in Atlanta for the holidays, and yet again I am already missing the warm Miami weather. People who have never visit to Atlanta, usually never imagine just how cold it actually becomes here.
This morning I noticed that waking up in the winter is much more difficult when freezing temperatures are involved. I kept telling myself 'I'll just sleep for another 5 minuets which eventually turned into another 45 minutes...' before I finally rolled out of bed...
After finishing a small cup of joe, while in between adding additional vintage handbags to the shop, I met up with my mother and younger sis for pancakes...which were fantastic!
Tonight is 'girls night out' and I regret not having the appropriate winter gear to keep warm...For the 1st time I'm actually looking forward to purchasing a new scarf-glove-hat set.
I'm thinking CASHMERE... :)

Fall is quickly disappearing while winter is steadily approaching...Most of the leaves have now fell from the trees in my backyard, giving my family & I loads of yard work to complete over this past weekend. I plan to clean out my closet over the next few days, ridding myself of items that I no longer want, need, nor wear...Most likely I will donate them to the American Kidney Fund...however the thought of Ebay sounds much more appealing...It's truly been a while since I had a fun/friendly 'auction'
The shop is now stocked with a selection of cozy jackets/coats & cardigans...

I firmly believe that Sunday is a 'day of rest...' In the mist of several naps, dessert breaks and mini conversations with mom & sis, I lounge around the house in cozy pajamas...
Additional marvelous handbags were added to the shop this evening. I love how the colors, textures and designs coordinate with each other. There's something elegant & lady like about these 3...

Thanksgiving has now came & gone...and now it's back to work for many. Lately, I've been very relaxed on not adding items to the shop as frequently as I use to in the past...I am very sorry for my new-found laziness. After these past few days of 'taking it easy' I've now re-charged my mind, body and soul...ready for a full week of work! While enjoying a cup of peppermint tea, I decided to kick things off by loading an adorable tweed dress, cozy fur coat and whimsical clever cape. My mother was very adamant on keeping the gorgeous cape for herself (to wear during the holiday season) while I too, was very reluctant on selling the cute day dress...how swell would it look worn with chunky tights and loafers?!
