featured in Better Homes and Garden magazine...

Good News!
Mulch is featured in the Better Homes and Garden (magazine), July 2010 issue!!! I'm very excited (for those of you who do not know, this is my mother's company.)
Mulch is a local company in Atlanta...ran by Stephanie Glass.
Stephanie started the company in 2009 with 1 small idea in mind...'whimsical coupon-pocket book' ... After opening her store on Etsy, success shortly arrived with numerous great responses and opportunities.
Fortune Cookie (above) is the chosen style coupon book featured in Better Homes and Gardens...On news stands now
Congratulations Mulch!

pizza shop...

Fellini's is my all-time favorite pizza shop in Atlanta. It's not often I have the opportunity to visit, but over Memorial Day weekend, the family and I ventured to Atlanta and made a pit stop for lunch here...Afterward's we headed to the Jazz Festival for a day/evening in the park...How was your weekend?

random weekend...

This past weekend was laid back...with perfect weather and the company of good friends/family, I took it easy and enjoyed the ability to just relax. There were numerous events happening around Atlanta over the weekend such as The Dogwood festival, (which I would of loved to have attended) however the thought of sitting in traffic for hours quickly erased that event off the list :)
Above are some items that were added to the shop over the weekend! I'm actually very surprise at how much work I was able to complete...Hopefully there will be more handbags added throughout the day :)

p.s.
Karen (little sister) will be returning home this evening from her 6month Australia trip!
I'm very excited to head to the airport to pick her up...am I the only one who actually gets extremely happy visiting airports???  ;)

4 eyes...

It has been a rainy & extremely chilly day here in Atlanta... This morning I made myself a gigantic cup of joe, and went to my much needed hair appointment. Afterward, the day was spent completing a list of errands (all in which included) buying new eyeglasses & contacts! I was very excited to walk into the shop and find the exact style of frames I have been craving for months...The eye-glass frames were only $9.00! Not only was it the stylish, black 'nerdy' kind but they totally flattered my face...which is rare. Hopefully I have the same excitement and joy when it arrives in the next few days...(I have a habit of falling in & out of love with eye-glasses)...they always seem to be much more perfect while trying on at the store, rather than when I get the actual eyeglasses home they seem to look not so good anymore...wish me luck!
Also I managed to add a few additional items to the shop...It's quite rare coming across a Samsonite handbag...and the hot pink military style coat is just to die for...the perfect coat to help you get through the remainder of winter.

6 vintage bags...

Photobucket

Currently I'm back home in Atlanta for the holidays, and yet again I am already missing the warm Miami weather. People who have never visit to Atlanta, usually never imagine just how cold it actually becomes here.
This morning I noticed that waking up in the winter is much more difficult when freezing temperatures are involved. I kept telling myself 'I'll just sleep for another 5 minuets which eventually turned into another 45 minutes...' before I finally rolled out of bed...
After finishing a small cup of joe, while in between adding additional vintage handbags to the shop, I met up with my mother and younger sis for pancakes...which were fantastic!
Tonight is 'girls night out' and I regret not having the appropriate winter gear to keep warm...For the 1st time I'm actually looking forward to purchasing a new scarf-glove-hat set.
I'm thinking CASHMERE... :)
xoxo
p.s. .....Have a lovely weekend friends!
