my hero...3.1 phillip lim

I am an absolute huge fan of 3.1 Phillip Lim...what can I say...the guy is a genius. Year after year his collections are better than before, always aspiring to give the public something edgy yet so feminine to look forward to wearing season after season. I must admit that I am currently trying out a whole new look. Let's just call it sexy & vamp...think leather and black eyeliner. For those who know me, this is a complete 360 from my usual taste...but you know what?...I'm becoming very fond of the 'new' me. I now must add this leather mini to my wish list...and the 'marching band' inspired cardigan is hella amazing too!

Glossy Update

It's something appealing yet so' classic about glossy patent-leather. Especially when it's featured in beautiful colors like yellow...perhaps. The shop is now updated with much more finds like the one's pictured above.

Satchels and Mini Messengers

I just listed two handbags in the shop.

One is a 1970s Capezio...which has a doctor satchel shape and removable shoulder strap. The other handbag is a gorgeous slate grey leather, mini messenger...which can be worn across the body. Both handbags are superb and are perfect for everyday wear and the Fall months to come.

For the past two months I have taken up courses at a local university in Psychology. I guess you can say I was 'led' to go back and obtain a Masters. For the past year all I could think about was becoming a therapist. The courses are very interesting and I completely enjoy learning about the different aspects of the brain, personalities and disorders. My classes will end on Aug 20th...but will start again for Fall semester on Sept 9th. I'm hoping to break away for a mini vacation just before Fall officially begins. Maybe I will head up north to visit my sister in New England...we shall see :)

I just listed three really cute vintage SATCHELS in the store. One is a really cool oversized leather satchel by Capezio....It's absolutely amazing! Great for carrying alot of items and keeping everything organized. Another one is a vintage 1970s

'tote' style satchel and lastly we have a 1980s 'mini' satchel!

Adore Vintage Gucci

I was in Locust Grove, GA last weekend and found the most incredible, impeccable and timeless handbag ever!
It's a vintage 1960s Gucci purse...which also converts into a clutch!
This particular bag is made of gorgeous, smooth camel leather with a long gold chain strap.
Oversized envelope shape that will look amazing added to any wardrobe.
Also very similar to the newer Gucci 'Safari' look...
